The newly released Aeroplane Heaven MkI Spitfire in the gloom - NZNR (honest!).

On a brighter note (Omaka):

A nice touch, the parachute ... and it's a Kiwi livery:

... and finally ... the "classic" angle ...

A great release for Battle of Britain week.

I like the second screenshot the best and regarding third screenshot, I did not know that MS2020 can offer recreation or stimulation of flat tires for landing gear!!!

Thanks for the kind comments! As to the flat tyres - I'll look into that ... to see whether they change according to fuel/loading (I doubt it ... more likely just an elevation bug)!

Fanntstic set, Adam. Makes me wonder whether I should of git this instead of FI Spitfire. Although my preference would be a Mk V.

I think I like the MkV the most too. There's not much in it, between the AH and FI versions - both are stunning visually (inside and out) though I think the MkI lacks the superb engine realism of the P3D A2A equivalent. It appears nigh on impossible to overheat the AH Spit ... which can't be right (!).

I didn't notice the tyres ...all superb shots, but for me, it's the ground shot # 3.
Pugged in, door open, and chute ready to put on.... a lot said (or shown)about the way and time that these aircraft did their best.
Well done and great to see you back Adam

beautiful pictures!

I bought it as well, but parked it back in the hangar for now, I don't like the external textures that much, the camouflage colours are too similar for my taste (=I can't tell them apart), and I don't like the totally different textures of the ailerons, so waiting for a paintkit...

Yes - the colouring does seem wrong, now you mention it. Hopefully a paintkit will help there. The ailerons on the MkI were fabric (as opposed to metal) but I think reflectivity is a little overdone so the difference is way too obvious.

I get the impression the release was rushed - possibly to hit Battle of Britain week - as there are a few simple errors (axis mappings reversed etc.) that should have been spotted and fixed.
