A few more paints for the 2024 Albatross I just upload on fs.2. I could find no Albatrosses with a NZ connection?

Gorgeous model and shots, JanKees! What a beauty! I've been eyeing this up and given my partner's love for Grumman boats I should probably get it.

One Albatross I know for sure with an NZ connection was John and Joyce Proctor's N4WT, which included NZ as part of its world tour and even flew at Warbirds Over Wanaka 1996. Hopefully someone considers a repaint for it as there are a few reference pics online.

During the Cold War, it was part of the initial equipment of the German Navy.

I'll see what I can do.

I caved and dropped NZD14 on this one on the strength of the FS20 repaints, the Chalk one in particular. (thanks JK)

I didn't know too much about this bird and was surprised to read that it was meant to be the successor to the Catalina.
Nearly the same size as the Cat, too.
Nice model as it turns out, Marketplace fare that it is.
