Thanks everyone!
This is good fun. I hadn't seen it before, 1975 was after I left the UK and before I got into cyberspace. I remember Fyfe Robertson well, and I am sure some of you will too. He was a sort of commentator for all purposes for BBC-TV. In the early/mid 1960s, I was watching some open-wheeler racing at Brands Hatch, when Jack Brabham (he wasn't Sir Jack then) had an engine let go, leaving a trail of oil and sundry bits of engine all down pit straight. Fyfe was soon in the pits to get an in-depth report...
"I see you're out of the race, Jack, what was the trouble?"
"Ignition failure."
"Ignition failure???"
"Yeah, Fyfe - a rod came through the block and cut the lead from the battery."
