Just an explanation on this Mt Cook 748. The 748 can be downloaded from Flitsim.com but it is the FS9 version with about 50 liveries. This one is just the one aircraft of the Mt Cook livery set up for FSX with the prop fix and is all setup to just drag and drop into your FSX SimObjects Aircraft folder plus some effect files to put in the FSX Effects folder and you are ready to fly. This would be interesting , the 707 for FS9 was brilliant and course having the QANTAS 70s coming threw Christchurch in the 60s 70s and early 80s , to compare against ANZ's DC-8 s , the takeoff were amazing to watch .

QUOTE (cowpatz @ May 4 2010, 08:55 AM) This looks awesome. EZ DOK Check out the Cessna Mustang....awesome detailing. I am looking forward to seeing some excellent sim videos with this tool. I think you might be talkiing about the new EZCA camera addon which is the comersialized vesion of EZDOK walk and follow. I think it is sold through flight1. Its now version 1.5 and has track IR5 support and heaps of cool cockpit effects like vibration when taking off and the external cameras have a shake to them as if they were real cameras mounted out on the wing. But best of all is the...

QUOTE very surprised many don,t fly this one , a brilliant freeware and really a lotta fun around the West Coast region Aye. Have been rather retro, of late. /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> Turned back the clock to the late 1940s, 50s and 60s and been flying the Coast, Southland and Fiordland in all manner of freeware (Cirrus Moth, Grumman Widgeon in Amphibian Airways livery, DH89 and Gooneys in NAC livery, Piper Apache (BYB), Auster J5R Alpine (BLW) and a re-release of Keith Paine's Percival Proctor (must do a repaint of Southern Scenics AJY)....

Yeah, thanks Paul - got it that time. There were two options there and I think I was choosing the wrong one. I opened up the specific folder for the plane rather than just choosing the download option offered under it's name. All cool now... /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif />

Well since this was released and learning more about the B-17 - this could with the P-47 could make for one amazing combat movie /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> Watch out for the gunners .... they have you beaded ! , yeah they move to there positions For your navigation purposes , you pan the mouse to the chart slip in the roof off the cockpit . Half the job is keeping the crew happy - jeepers , they really help ya out too ! Nice part with this Fort , you damage it a little , you can put down on to most airstrips and get the mechanics to...

QUOTE (redkiwi @ Feb 1 2010, 05:40 PM) I turned the sensitivity on my joystick right down, almost to minimum. Makes it much easier to fly. Previously it was almost impossible to hold it in a hover with the slightest nudge sending it running off wildly in that direction - good fun for fast low flying, but absolutely darnation for slow/hover work. It's not perfect now but it's a darn sight better! Awww- but that's part of the fun, breaking into a sweat trying to hover on default settings /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> A...

That sounds about right. Unlike his father my friend isn't really into aviation and all he could tell me was that it was a 2-seater jet crash and the only one I could remember in the time frame was the Fouga, I figured he meant that it happened locally.
