Zac - in FSX the effect used is caller FX_WaterBallastDrain.fx . So you can rename the current one called FX_Topdressing.fx to FX_WaterBallastDrain.fx The issue of how quick it sinks should be relatively easy. From memory its controlled by the temp parameter in the effect file - I suggest you look at reading the FSX SDK to get the background of what does what. I spent quite a bit of time getting the effect to this point, but have never been completely happy, so more tweaks needed. I also want to make the initial part exiting the hopper more dense.

The 76 may be worth a look if you dout the model , the Hercules on my recommendation is a must , I said it before for both FS9 and FSX this would be Captain Sim,s Flagship .

Not a fan of Diamond aircraft myself so I'll be giving it a miss, but I have heard that it's a very well made addon.

Of course, if you want a fix of connie, you can always pop across the ditch and visit HARS.... Speaking of HARS and four engined airliners of times gone by, I've just got back from visiting the inlaws (ex-inlaws? whatever - it's complicated) in Brisbane...While there, we spent a couple of weeks camping at Byron Bay, and one day while walking along the beach there, over flies a freshly restored DC4 closely followed by a DC3/C47...turns out that HARS had the DC4 restoration done for them in Brisbane, and they flew it south just before xmas as it was done, and I just happened to be...

QUOTE (ShadowMystDK @ Jan 4 2010, 11:05 AM) Just tried going to the site mentioned, and all I get is a blank page with a big "Crash" sign........guess it went down as a result of too much traffic? " ? Also, does anybody know if it's strictly an FSX aircraft or is there a FS2004 version? I continue to have the same problem with the "Crash" window.....this particular download is for FSX but you can source various FS9 Mirage 2000's here.... . And New Year Greetings!! Bob R

Downloaded this and found that a flight from Auckland to Wellington ended up by landing with one engine.I still had 22000 lbs of fuel left and couldn't restart the other 3 engines. We limped into Wellington on no 2 engine so it has a few quirks in it which need looking into.It was freeware so can't complain

QUOTE (Timmo @ Nov 12 2009, 04:43 PM) Yes and no /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> I have created a 15 m mesh for the Chatham Islands however this extra 5m isn't an extra 5m in the real sense as 20m is the recommended resolution from the source data. I.e. it is no more detailed in terms of the shape of the land. ok thanks for getting that cleared up for me.
