Hey Rob, have you notices with FTX Trees the top of the cross section polygons have a faint line on top? It's only noticeable at a low mip when far away from them.. it'll be a problem with the alpha channel I guess. or a uv issue. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed it before I report it. I have noticed this, also. Haven't reported it. It hasn't phased me too much at all but you can see the issue.

Nice, thanks for the link. I've just downloaded, installed and had a real blast from the coast and up the Wainuiomata River valley toward Wainnuiomata and over the hill to Lower Hutt - all at low level - most exhilarating.

They made a big improvement a year or two ago when the added a different source of weather to their system. This was largely due to mine and others pestering. They use metars but also have sourced a grided weather source that they add. This made a huge improvement. Now if you enter a flight plan into the program, the weather is further enhanced along the way. My feeling is that the Canterbury Arch will not be as you see it but there should be some evidence. We will wait for the correct weather conditions to see.

Things have changed and with latest versions of P3D much of the system demand has now been offloaded to the GPU. Also you do not need the sliders up as far as in FSX to achieve the same result.

I have had a bit of a play with this, I made a folder and placed all my high res photo scenery in the scenery folder and placing all Kelvins agn in the texture folder. I found it works pretty good not quite as neat as hand placed agn with some agn placing a minor amount vegetation in the water of some rivers and coastal areas but apart from that it does work reasonably well and a bloody site quicker that doing hand agn. It was the same with my auto generated vegetation agn using ScenProc it also overlapped a few trees into the rivers and some coastal areas.
