Interesting... I have all of the Il-2 series, from the first one right through the expansion packs and pacific fighters stand alone, When it was on the PC i did tend to fly I-16, I-153, and Yaks the most, though the Mig-3 was fun too

Exploring the model now. Not as many clickables in the VC as what it looks like, but I'm asking the author for a diagram as to what's what so I know I'm not missing anything. Couldn't find all of the light switches or enough clickables to start the aircraft manually.

QUOTE (deeknow @ Dec 22 2014,10:42 PM) Dunno about their earlier military stuff but the 737 and 727 certainly aren't fluff, they are nicely done IMHO True deeknow ... i retract that fluffy thing , the 70, 72 , are great .... and in my hanger.

STEEL, I can't compare NZSI and then Global as I run both together, I find the switch's problematic so created my own folder, It would be very interesting to see VLC with the Global X textures , I think just depends if you head overseas a bit or stay in the NZ.

QUOTE (SeanTK @ Dec 17 2014,11:43 AM) If anyone has this thing, can they provide a comprehensive review? Looking for info on the following factors: 1. Systems. Are they semi-realistic? Any problems in switch and/or guage operation? 2. Flight Dynamics. I see there is a third-party improvement for the FD on flightsim.com. Verdict? 3. What's it like under IFR conditions? Can you shoot an ILS, LOC, VOR/DME, and NDB approach with it successfully? Can you track the compass direction accurately in clouds? (Nemeth historically has a problem with their HSI instruments acting like a...

I will say that even if FTX Norway is a bit dissapointing for me (until the addon sceneries are addressed), I am enjoying the Seneca V by Carenado that I purchased at the same time. The glass panel is quite enjoyable, and the amount of info I can pull up certainly makes things easy. Just did the GPS Runway 29 approach into NZWU, and it went flawlessly!

QUOTE (gojozoom @ Oct 23 2014,11:58 AM) Hi guys, I know that this is not directly Flightsim related, however it has a huge potential for us: Thinking: clip-less headtracking, scenery object placement by hand (in 3D),etc, etc Dan Yeah, so Kinect for Windows has been out for years - it was a "Kinect v2.0" effectively - think the XBox 360 version but much higher resolution, and twice the price. It never took off, but damn did it have potential. The Original XBox 360 Kinect could be used with PCs also, as long as you had either the very early ones with separate power supply and...
