QUOTE (Sinz @ Aug 24 2012,7:34 PM) So how are those that have D/L'ed and started using it are Impressed? Is it running smoother than FSX? 10gb is pretty large will have to wait till the end of the month before I get it. If I decide to that is. Only have 20gb a month and the boy sucks a good 2/3 of that every month so have to get in before him /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> Any Screenies? You won't find any advancements in scenery. Perhaps only some minor performance increases and recoloured snow textures. No obvious gains from...

you now can get the helos from the milviz site I would say the ch-47 would be the pick of the litter due to nemeth had very little to do with it otherwise like anything else thats linked to nemeth, your can bet your money its bug filled and no matter how many patches you install its never fixed

Literary shot to pieces .. /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> , now been doing a little research and ill send these details back to Francisco and Simon , sure they wil be more than will to tweek it a bit . Great little model and really so longly needed is our Lodestar for the N.A.C and the Fieldair company , I'll send this off to 'Navman' just to see what may be done . Just couple of small fix's if Simon at FSAD is interested , quite important more to do with the Lodestar . The Hudson MkIII needs to be more in its own class , i...

Yes, interestingly the model has this manual on the coping: although there is not much left in common with the BK117. It is wider, longer, has a new rotor, uprated engines, and of course the glass cockpit. And an export order that dreams are made of, supplying USD3 Billion worth of "Lakotas" to the US Army.

QUOTE (Supasid @ Aug 7 2012,3:53 PM) Hi guys. As a soaring/sailplane only simmer. (No Molly, I don't fly on a hot stove!) Can someone enlighten, me will REX and Orbx/prepar3D satisfy these metaralogical requirements FSX dosn't compare with Silent Wings.... Short answer - No. But there are other free ware plugins that are specifically designed for Glider operations and weather. There are 3 programmes to accomplish this. 1. Cumulus X - creates thermal lift in the wright weather conditions. You can switch on markers or clouds that indicate there location. 2. Sim probe -...

QUOTE (deeknow @ Aug 3 2012,2:42 PM) Yeah they seem to be almost completely absent, have spotted one great one near Raglan with a decent cliff face drop-off. We should all keep lat/long coords of the ones we find and do a wee multiplay tour one night? Good thinking 99 ... Have Mike in the background placing strips here there and every-where /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> Well i have the AFX tool ..be easy enough to do /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

QUOTE (deeknow @ Jul 29 2012,2:01 PM) Yeah not really a new source that one, just regurgitating the news from the other site by the looks. A few threads on other forums about this too, e.g. avsim Yeah, Avsim has a statement from Joshua Howard from the Flight team, kind of wraps up the whole thing.

QUOTE (SeanTK @ Jul 24 2012,3:56 AM) I have the following in my collection: AS365 Dauphin SH-2 Seasprite SH-3 Sea King AH-64D Apache Longbow KA-50 "Black Shark" Tu-22 Blinder BN-2 Islander (not included in sale) In general, I've been happy with most of them. I particularly enjoy the BN-2 (again, not in the sale) and the SH-3 Sea King the most out of all of them. Keep in mind that the Sea King was redone for FSX and looks fantastic. Of my selection, the Blinder and Dauphin are probably the lowest quality of the bunch, but they can still be enjoyable. If I had to...

Thanks for that Lawrie. You sure have been involved with flight sim for a while, long may it last. I hope you are managing to overcome some of your difficulties with "Snowman's" website All the best. Brian.
