That really is a shame, especially given there are some great freeware aircraft without FMCs that benefited from the VASFMC stuff. For folks that are just getting into flying airliner commercial stuff it was great to be able to lash the VAS stuff on. The old release was reaonsably stable wasnt it? I wonder if Navigraph will continue to publish updates for it? For anyone who hasnt looked at them, the payware ISG gauges are good value for money:

QUOTE (jastheace @ Oct 16 2011,12:10 PM) there is some talk of flight returning to the days were flight sims were an area simulator, Hmm well this puts New Zealand as one of the best areas , from your heavies to areas that will suit the real time casual to a warbird fan but guess that out off the question , end off the day seen all the hype before and promos that most could not run .

I've just downloaded and installed the first pack- ran the traffic files through it through the AIFPC decompiler and complier to make them FSX suitable, and now have the aircraft flying alongside my FTX commercial AI and the GNZLAP aircraft. However, parked at Woodbourne for example, I see no statics around me like I used to with FS9. When I go into views /icon_arrow.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= -> border= 0 alt= icon_arrow.gif /> Air Traffic, there are only 2 airforce aircraft in the list out of the 30 odd Air NZ and GA planes. Any idea on how to make the RNZAF fleet a more...

I'm very sure they underestimate just many lurk waiting for the sales , then Whammo they get bogged down , I no if you pay for your A6 before sale date terminates you will be fine and still a week before it ends .

QUOTE (Naki @ Sep 20 2011,9:25 AM) ...provided its not priced like a real Aerospace product Well if I remember correctly, Lockheed Martin bought the IP for ESP which was the "commercial" sim engine that Microsoft spun off from FSX. The price Microsoft charged for a single copy of ESP? US$1k per license

Yeh that cloud/fog edge blending is awsome. Its a pitty someone hasnt come up with a fix like that for FSX. That flaw is present in all the weather addon programs. Back to the Sept sample shots, pic 7 really shows its old FS roots with blurry low level of detail and the typical MS city landclass all laying the same direction. This is perhaps the worst screenshot of flight i have seen.(must be seen in full screen to see my point)
