Where do I fly?...
For the past 14+ years, every single day, since Flight Unlimited II, touring the whole of California and the Western Seaboard, from Seattle to San Diego, and across to Nevada and Arizona.
with FS '98, FS 2000, FS 2002, FS 2004, (and FSX on very rare occasions), using mostly General Aviation aircraft, flying under VFR and IFR conditions, Solo, with and without default ATC (very nice!), or flying on-line with other Pilots, using either private IP addresses, or Multiplayer FS Host Servers!
My main/only use for the Sim is just to explore the surrounding countryside at low level, with the aid of Google Satellite Maps, and Wikipedia for local area information.
My knowledge of Radio Communication and Navigation is assisted by my FS Navigator and Plan G v2, using my full Bendix-King Radio Stack plus instruments, (installed in ALL my aircraft!), and the occasional use of default ATC, which works excellently for my particular purpose!
FS 2004 using
default ATC would suit me perfectly!
...(its just a shame that it was never implemented for FS 2004 Multiplayer...only for FSX Multiplayer!)
Above all... I have
FUN in all my flights, either Solo, or with other Multiplayers, for a friendly chat, and a good laugh and a joke!....(which probably would not suit Vatsim users!).
..and even after 14+ years I never take the MS Flight Sims
seriously...life is far too short!
Fun and Enjoyment are the magic words in everything!
Paul...FS 2004...FS Nav...a very speedy Cessna 150 Aerobat...lots of radios, and a big Joke Book!....
