Probably not much gained. When you think about it you have to buy a PSU with 4 6pin PCI-e connectors, and at least 600w (extra cost), a mobo with crossfire ability (extra cost), an extra graphics card (extra cost), you're probably better off getting a high-end single card.

I've read quite a few topics with people praising the Q6600 as a cheapish for performance card. Good for FSX and future proofing as well (quad core).

Yeah I know how you feel, I had so many opinions and trying to decide on which one's is a pain. Thanks to everyone on this forum who's helped me and given me advice!
