It looks OK Dave , ideal for the Island hop for so many who the recent aircraft , wonder how it works with the RED BARON mesh-landclass , something i have not installed in FSX .

Its a fantastic place mate, it's not as developed as Fiji which I think is part of its charm.

My third trip up there.

cheers Dave

ps Bought and downloaded the scenery ................ I highly recommend

highly recommend "Amuri sands". it's just a small self catering one man band place but right on the beach alongside some good resorts on the sunset side of the island. approx $105 a night I think - thats between 1/5 - 1/3 of the rate of the neigbouring places and Mark who runs the place is excellent with making it a relaxing stay. It isn't the place to go if you want to be out and about doing heaps, it's much more the relaxing snorkeling fishing etc type of place. We've been there several times now and will probably try to get back there again ... and again.

Yeah Raro main island is nice, but if you want to get away from it all and potentially have a piece of beach to yourself (or only a few others smile.gif then get over to Aitutaki, worth the short flight.
You'll need to be a self-entertaining type, which sounds like you are smile.gif

Here's some pics I took while we were there:

Oh, and another bonus (for us aviation nuts) you'll prolly get to fly on a Saab340

Just bought myself a copy of the Pacific Islands Simulation scenery released last week. What a ripper, having been there can confirm it looks bang on, the detail is lovely, definitely worth a purchase. Now gonna buzz about in some GA and check out the rest of the island smile.gif

Dean (NZFF member) has it for sale on his website, see: http://www.pcaviator.com.au/store/product....&featured=Y
