The new version is called AS16 and has a companion ASCA (SKY and CLOUD control)
We have been Beta testing for 5 months and I can report it is very stable and an very interesting step up from Active next. It works well for NZ weather.

I am in Auckland so do not personally witness it in real time however I will watch the forecast for NW conditions and give you a report.

A screen shots would better, this will be ideal to show the local real time pilots and get their reaction, it is difficult due to lack of weather stations around NZ and the South Island particular.

They made a big improvement a year or two ago when the added a different source of weather to their system. This was largely due to mine and others pestering. They use metars but also have sourced a grided weather source that they add. This made a huge improvement.
Now if you enter a flight plan into the program, the weather is further enhanced along the way. My feeling is that the Canterbury Arch will not be as you see it but there should be some evidence. We will wait for the correct weather conditions to see.
