Actually my initial impressions are that in the photogrammetry areas the trees are much better. Ardmore is still missing the unicom tower but the overall surroundings look much better, it doesn't look like it's in a jungle anymore. I also notice the taxiways have their correct designators now which is a nice touch and the two grass runways have been properly implemented as useable runways. On the downside there is one hangar which randomly has trees growing inside it, but in most respects it's a nice improvement, the elevation data update looks good too, the smaller terrain features on and around the airfield stand out more than they used to. I did a flight down to Hamilton and back and there is definitely a bit of a jarring transition when the photogrammetry turns to the normal scenery, but I guess that's no different to when we had photo scenery areas in the past. The map data outside the photogrammetry appears to have been updated too because I notice Hampton Downs has gone from being a construction site to being a finished race circuit.
