I'll consider this one, but there's something about it that's just not sitting quite right for me, and I can't quite put my finger on what's causing it....but the plane just looks a bit too "cartoony" to me. Not sure if it's the modelling or texturing or what.
The closest approximation is if you compare the visuals of the Virtavia Hind vs. the Nemeth Hind for FSX. The Virtavia one looks more "cartoony" to me, but that's as specific as I can get right now.

Also noted that a participant on SOH with DHC-1 experience highlighted a number of errors, and was of course jumped on by the "developers can do no wrong, especially if they are active at SOH" voices at that forum.

That was my feeling with that Yak that came out a while ago ..... something not right . Sean , i agree with the Virtavia statement , and until recently JF have been similar ( too clean)
Just my opinion .

Yes...SOH has been going steadily downhill. Far too many ignorant, belligerent people, who seem more interested in combat than in flight simming sad.gif

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

At least you can say it here clapping.gif

"My Granpappy fought and died in three world wars to preserve the Imperial System of Measurement, but when I decompiled the model I found the internal fuel pipes had been modelled as 25mm diameter, instead of one inch. That means this model and everything else this developer has done is rubbish"

Does that ring any bells? Of course the sort of guy who posts things like that doesn't seem to know that SAE came after Imperial laugh.gif
