That is something I never thought off looking whiles in the Devon, be easy to check out next week maybe, I don't have the Heron but I do no the cockpit is very tight ... again a Heron is a little different to the AF Devon's being stretched , I think maybe something not foreseen ... Strange I would have Mike had have done the smaller Dove/Devon over the Heron but I guess it depends on how often you get to see one.
