Sad to learn that Alex Wemmer is closing down his VasFMC website and discontinuing any work on the project.
The files may be put on Avsim or Flightsim but not by him. Unfortunately he will not release the source code...not sure why not but he will have his reasons.
It is a shame that the bugs could not have been ironed out of the latest version prior to closing down.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

That really is a shame, especially given there are some great freeware aircraft without FMCs that benefited from the VASFMC stuff. For folks that are just getting into flying airliner commercial stuff it was great to be able to lash the VAS stuff on. The old release was reaonsably stable wasnt it? I wonder if Navigraph will continue to publish updates for it?

For anyone who hasnt looked at them, the payware ISG gauges are good value for money: http://isgsim.com/
