The annual ORBX Post-Christmas Sale is now on at The Flightsim Store.

For those that wanted ORBX but thought it was too expensive, how does AUD $27.45 sound?

Sale ends after 11:59pm GMT 31st December 2011 (10:59am AEDT 1st January 2012).

Just issued and already on sale - hardly seems fair to recent purchasers. Will tread more lightly around this outfit in the future.

Had they been blessed with thirty days foresight, I wonder how many would have prepaid. The difference between what they saved by prepaying and what they would have saved on this sale should be credited to each of those customers accounts.

Prepaid for YMMB and got it on the 10th Dec and also YWOL which I got on the 13th Dec. I am very happy that I got to fly those airports early instead of waiting for the ORBX after Christmas sale. I won't be asking for a refund, that's just silly.

I'll for sure be buying NZSI in the sale along with a few more airports though.

The download with DVD is only another AUD $7.95 and I'm guessing that you don't need to download to get the DVD.

Be aware that if you buy the download with the $7.95 DVD backup, this does not mean you actually get the full boxed DVD version, its just the download on a blank disc sent to you. It's different from the full boxed version.

Thanks, Dean; thought that would be the case.

3Gb on dialup is not fun, hence the need for the full-boxed version.

No problem. We have the full boxed version available and can send over to NZ no problem. Would be about AUD$47 roughly shipped via Air Mail (3-4 business days delivery).

I didn't get NZSI but got YBAS as prepaid. Was a bit disapionted when the sale was annouced as I'm of Scottish decent and beleive in getting best value for my hard earned money. Had I known about the sale I would have held of and got at least one more AU airport maybe two. With all the sales on I haven't even checked out BAS yet so prepay was no advantage really.

But Orbx defence I think from memory prepaid was discounted too... Oh well such is life.

At least we are only talking a handful of dollars.. I still remember paying $4200 for an apple cinema display to see the regular price drop to $2600 or $2400 a week later.. :-/

Well I took the plunge against my better judgement and got NZSI since the likes of Robin and Mike have got it, but haven't even down loaded it yet - I've only got a week left of holidays and don't want to spend that tweeking SI the entire time to work with their stuff.

Now where did I put that shotgun just in the event I do download it.... winkyy.gif
