Interesting update... without delving in there: how much and how fast is the magnetic pole moving from True North?
I know some runways have had to be renamed recently.

Magnetic variation is slowly changing, the distance per year, like the variation itself depends on your latitude. At our latitude the distance works out to roughly 9mm over 6 years.

I thought the declination went smoothly with latitude, but no:

The isogenic lines (from Wiki)



That'll give you 8 deg difference over NZ, N to S.
Wonder if my iPhone knows this...
