The video footage here is fantastic. The aerial overhead shots could be actual footage it is that good. Best watched in good res on a full screen.

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Why not start with the free one and if you like it either upgrade or add on aircraft etc? I have ROF but don't really use it. Can't nail it down but for me it just didn't seem to live up to my expectations and it seemed a lengthy process to get it all set up.
I must revisit it and try again.

Adrian by the way how is the unsure.gif (looks both ways and says in a whisper) Air Truk coming along?

TrackIR is a requirement , without it you would be lost in a very short time

hhaa yep I am (still)planning on making an Airtruk ,..with guns.. If Deane is making one then perhaps not. I dont have TrackIR and wont be able to afford that for a while yet so maybe I might hold off..

To much driving AG aircraft , nah ... after Adrian's and his dads legend with P3/C130 builds over the many years , mixing it up with Deane's wonderful works would not be hard to do ... least we can call them our own home grown aircraft designers cool.gif

Don't be put off by not having track IR you soon get used to using hat switch and/or mouse to pan around, it's just what you get used to.

That looks awesome, I haven't done any flying in RoF for a while but that's given me inspiration to get back into it.

Both ROF and COD have impressive water textures , reason they work so well is they are limited to the combat zone rather the entire world to contend with .
