I'm looking forward to it, unlike Cliffs of Dover this one is being worked on by 777 Studios who did Rise of Flight, so it should be good - even if it was just Rise of Flight with WWII aeroplanes it would be awesome, but it's obviously going to be a step up from that.

Makes me wonder if this is real "In-Game" stuff or just some talented artist's CGI...

Sweet a new IL2. Hope they've learned from what they gave us with Cliffs of Dover. Rise of Flight devs are doing it huh? Well In thet case, I hope it's a bit easier to 'jump in' to than what RoF is like, always found that a very hard game to navigate and setup my joystick. Aswell as feeling VERY limited without a trackIR type setup.

Tend to agree. I gave up on RoF very early on for those exact reasons.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

I'm glad 777 studios are now doing this as what they have done with ROF was brilliant.
I hope they put is much effort into the AI and campaigns as they have in to the graphics aye CLod.
I better start saving for a new PC though Bucktooth.gif

IL2 is still a brilliant WW2 combat flightsim
