Well I bought FS Global 2010 quite a while ago, and use it in my FS9.1 as well as my FSX - it covers both.
I also use other meshes in certain areas (e.g. NZ) because FS will use the highest resolution mesh it finds for a particular area.
As I have said elsewhere, my main requirements are accurate coastlines, good mesh, and proper landclass.
I bought FTX AU for my FSX install, and found it disappointing - my old FS9.1 Classic plus VOZ 1.8 was better in several respects.
One of those was misplaced 'town' landclass, and another was a general excess of trees.
The recent ORBX release of scenery for Shetland apparently covered the whole place in trees, when in fact there are maybe a couple of dozen trees in the whole archipelago.
I am not willing to rebuild my current installations, to make ORBX work by accommodating their errors, particularly since their "beautiful places to fly" are not, to my mind, realistic.
That's how I feel - naturally, everyone else is free to follow their own inclinations.
MikeW'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'
