No fuel no pax , i,ve seen a 74 climb outta Christchurch like it unstuck really unstuck from the ground .. sure that day they simply turned the earth around and it just fell off

this is a very brief video of ZK-NGD running it's Engine at full power (until I can edit it properly) on the ham apron - the camera didn't really pick up the noise it was in the continuous Ear ringing dept - they run the engines at full power 3 - 4 times at between approx 4-6 mins each time.

Dont no Ham , in thought i recon the eyebrows should return the nose .. but with loosing the 73 in the next couple years for an Arbust guess that wont happen

Here is ZK-NGD in Invercargill on 21st May. It did a charter for the Bluff Oyster Festival and a group of us were given a thorough guided tour around inside and out. I didnt realise it was the one which had the failed engine until I came into this thread.

speaking of unstuck,

i remember when i was working at Napier airport when they brought the NZSO in on a 737-200, it was departing empty, no that was a take off, he was off the deck half way down the runway and i swear he was at 2000ft by the end of the runway and climbing like a home sick angel. i love those 200's and talk about noise loved the sound of them. i see the maintenance dept at Hamilton hasn't changed since i was there. loved working at Hamilton, got to do almost everything.
