anyone? XD
He's probably busy flying a certain Connie...
Sad to see that the Hurricane may go overseas but thats the way it is with the vintage/warbird aircaft market..this countered by the imminent arrival of the full scale replica FW-190 and the recent sale of the old AFC Spitfire Mk XIV to the same organisation (not due to fly until about 2011). I was even sader to see the the AFC Sptfire head overseas but that has will and truly countered by the recent arival and rebuild of three other Spitfires...
WOW 2010 could still be great..possibly 2 Spitfires, 2 Kittyhawks, 2 Mustangs, Corsair, LA-9 (although this is also for sale I understand), Yak-3, FW-190, A-37, L-39, Vampire, F-18 (?), WW1 aircraft etc etc ..and apparently an aircraft that hasnt been here before according to their web site (although that might be a reference to the FW-190).Last edited by Naki on Mon Aug 24, 2009 9:50 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Sorry to say it wasn't the Mk14, it was the pilot who nearly killed himself. I'm full of praise for what Sir Tim has done for NZ aviation, but his three Spitfire prangs proved he was not capable of handling the aircraft. Sadly it took a third accident to ruin it all for him.
