Great flight pics, Scott
I should probably know, but which Cessna is that?

Aren't we spoiled though? If you are flying around the South Island, you have amazing airports, not to mention general mesh/topo, all the way from Invercargill to Christchurch and beyond.
Take a bow, Robin Corn, Robert Lohr, Ian Warren. Christian Stock.

Thanks Charl, it's the Carenado Cessna 206. Probably my favourite aircraft in my GA hangar.

We sure are, with Mount Cook and Queenstown within a few minutes of these airports it makes for so many possibilities. And with Peter working on Milford and Christian on Te Anau the future only looks brighter B)

Muppet- Those images you captured are great. Not only the fantastic photoreal, but the landclass in between too.

Please tell me what (landclass) textures you are using? They look far better than the default winter ones I have, and if possible I will try and download them ;)

As for Taupo, the new rendition looks amazing, just like when I was there a few years ago. You can't get over how unbelievably blue the glacier fed lake is- I love it!

I also have the Carenado C206 full pack, but for some strange reason, none of them fly in a straight line. I have tried adjusting just about everything to fix it (even re-installing fs2004 on a new HDD) but even today, it banks either left or right on its own accord, just like the FSNORDIC Maule. The reason I am telling you this, is because I am wondering if you ever experienced the same problem. If you have, would you be so kind as to tell me how to fix it?

Cheers.

Hey Trolly, thanks! As far as landclass, I am using Christian's latest, available here: http://www.redbarent.com/free_stuff.htm My ground textures may look a little different though as I am also using Flight 1's Ground Environment available here: http://environments.flight1.net/

Regarding your problem with the Carenado 206 I am not sure as I have never experienced it myself. I had the original before getting the upgrade pack with floats and cargo mods. I also fly the Maule you speak of and don't have problems with it either. Strange, nothing with your joystick config or somehting in the realism settings perhaps? There is a Carenado forum here, although it is not frequented that often but it may be somewhere to try for some help: http://s8.invisionfree.com/Canadian_Pil ... owforum=29 Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

Thanks for the reply Muppet.

I already have the the NZLC file but did not reconise Flight 1's Ground Environment, that might have to be a be my next payware purchase now... :)

I have run through all the possible scenarios that could be making my aircraft bank with no success, but someone on the AVSIM forums told me it could have something to do with FSUIPC ... I have no clue what this is- do you?

It's money very well spent.
It lit up my sim and made me go back and look at old flights with a new appreciation.
Of course, it's European-centric, so have a fly along the Cote-d'Azure for a real eye-opener.
But it does a great job in NZ too I reckon

Thanks for the sceenie Charl, it will definity go on my list of "to buy" payware products, but there is so much more I want at the same time.

Just a quick question for those who have the new REAL NZ Wanaka and the old Godzone Wanaka... what is the differance between the two apart from the airport?

Cheers

Great shot Charl, Kirk's work is amazing - especially when it is free!

@ Trolly. I see in the other thread you have your C206 fixed but you did ask about FSUIPC. It is a module ( .dll file) for FS and enables other programs to interact with FS such as Squawkbox, ActiveSky etc etc. There a re new versions released quite regularely and you can get it over at http://www.schiratti.com/dowson

I have had both versions of Wanaka, but did not have the older version installed with the new meshes. Getting the new version for the airport is good enough reason alone though ;)
