Average Age of Kiwi Simmer

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby ardypilot » Sat Jul 15, 2006 10:10 pm

After a comment I read on the forums, I began to wonder what the average age of the Kiwi simmer was.

Please don't take this personally and don't answer if you do not wish to, but this poll should give us some interesting statistics!

AVSIM did a demographic once, which showed a remarkable age spread, from 10 to 70, no spikes particularly.
Can't think of too many obsessions that have that.
But there are no ladies. I think it was something like 99.99% male dominated.

You've got 6 yrs on me Motheaten. How about a wrinklies poll on tele-researchers saying "tell me when to stop when I reach your age bracket", do you wait for them to get to yours or do you just tell them?
1 vote for can't be b******d waiting that long. :D :D

i must have been about 11 or 12 when i first started flight sim (ver 5.0 :D ), but i never got to any stage of being able to create my own skins or complete IFR flights. landing at meigs field in the 172 was about as good as it got for me, so you're way ahead of where i was at your age. keep it up!
