Today I was doing my schoolwork and we saw ZK-OJO fly over (runway 29 was active today! they go right near our house :P ) So Mum took me out to the airport to see it and I took photos of other aircraft too. It was about 2 o'clock.

Nice pics Jimmy. Are you home-schooled? Imagine asking your teacher for the day off to go to the airport!

There is an A320-200 Star Alliance paint out there. I did a video of it once at Wellington It's rubbish quality on Google, the original was sharp and clear.

Love the pics. To answer your A320 question tho, yes the Star Alliance one is available in both flyable and AI versions. PAI and Evolve AI have hte AI one, and I think Avsim/Flightsim has the flyable one but i can't remember who by...

Search for "Jonathan Hartana" at avsim, and you'll come up with his nice Star Alliance repaint for the IFDG A320 :)

Thanks for sharing Jimmy!

I'm glad you finally got to take some photos at the airport- planespotting is great fun aint it?

You seem to have a great variety of aircraft down there in NZCH too- how on earth did you get onto the roof? Is there a purposly built lookout or did you just climb up there lol

As for the Star Alliance A320, I once captured her coming into Auckland International:

Then when I got home, I downloaded the IFDG repaint off avsim here: ifdg_anz_sa_a320.zip and took it for a flight from Brisbane to Fiji. I made a collection of screenshots which are uploaded here: http://flyawaysimulation.com/postt13032.html

Yeah theres a look out on top of the terminal, its quite a big area with great views. I'll take a screenie of NZCH in flightsim and post it here(if its there). Theres a door then some stairs in the domestic terminal's upstairs bit. Its quite good, you can walk over and see the saabs and smaller stuff on the other side too! And the smell of aviation fuel mmmm lol

Matt..Can you find a spelling mistake in this post? haha

Spelling appears ok, but now let's learn punctuation... this is an apostrophe '

hehehe sorry mate, my wife is an English teacher, I think it has rubbed off on me

can't say i find the star alliance livery particularly inspiring. it is more of a requirement from star alliance than anything else.

nice pics too Jimmy.
