Nice :) :)

The "dip the tail in the water" routine is surely a valid speed-brake method that also helps clean the plane!

Hehe I think I will do a recording of a chopper landing then re-play it as AI using a jet... Call it the Harrier Heavy Hover Challenge perhaps?

I`m going to try a 737-800 next, then maybe a 757 :o

( i`ll try to save the cleaning for the ground crew :P )

Reverse thrust is an amazing thing and although a Dash 8 has the pitch reversing props they would be nothing like throwing out those buckets on a jet would they?
Zoltuger if you want to assign a button for reverse thrust you need a registered version of FSUIPC. I have my throttle quadrant set up for this as it has the detents for it on the quad but it could be assigned to any button on your joystick. It's a good investment if you are going to have more of a cockpit than just a joystick.

You can just assign a joystick button without the registered copy of FSUIPC.

It's F2 on the keyboard by default (hold it down) It's called Throttle Decrease Quickly in the engine assignments. Assign a joystick button to it and put the repeat up on full.

Excellent tip Mat, I bet alot of people don't know that. Have you submitted it to 'Tips & Tricks' or is that where you learnt it? I don't recall seeing it there.
Maybe you should post this in 'Anouncements' too,it's a real gem!

You'll find all sorts of interesting hot keys if you scroll down through the list of "Assignments" in FS9. One I assigned for blurries caused by slow loading of scenery is "Refresh scenery" (I use Ctrl F12). This simply reloads the scenery afresh.
As for reverse thrust, you can land a Dash 8 with room to spare at Milford Sound:
Full flaps 98 kts...
At 10ft altitude start tapping F2..F2...F2
As soon as the wheels touch ground the props reverse
Hit brakes
Stop
Release brakes, aircraft backs up under reverse thrust :o
Hit F1, open throttles.
Take off to amazement of onlookers :D
