These guys are awesome. It's precise sim based aerobatics with appropriate music. The video is IL2, using custom repaints and just brilliant.

I get computer pilot mag each month and they had an article on online aerobatics and this russian crowd actually go around on the airshow circuit now doing virtual displays and have it set up just like the thunderbirds and red arrows etc with all the training just like the real thing!

There's an Italian team that also do this stuff - very demanding training schedules, you have to wonder what they do for a living!
Any aerobatics-rated pilots around here?

havent done any real world flying for quite a long time now but did heaps of aeros when i did my wings course RNZAF back in '82 - heaps of aeros every flight and low level, formation etc - even got 10mins pole time on the p3

Any aerobatics-rated pilots around here?

Not myself, but the Andrew Hope who recently took me up for a spin in ZK-CIT is!

It is a great feeling, being as light as air then as heavy as lead as you pull through the G-forces.
