A couple of the VPA guys will have seen this, but thought everyone else might enjoy it. Some shots from my trip to San Francisco a couple of days ago..

Boeing 777-200ER direct across the Pacific Ocean.

Our aircraft is parked at gate 8. Only a couple of hours left until boarding time :nuts:

Ok, I'm bored of sleeping and the movie selection now, so here is the "airshow" telling us all about what part of the ocean we are above.

Breakfast at 41000ft. Looks and tastes much better than it looks in the photo (French toast)

Next we are on descent and on approach. A great deal of spoiler was used on descent (i thought we looked high!)

fascinating... i flew in an ANZ 777 from BNE to AKL earlier this year, and it had a 747 model moving across the screen :blink:

and that french toast looks damn good

Great pics Alistair , LUCKY BUGGER!
brings back lotta memories , .....they do seem to use a lot off spolier at wicked alt ? think they may be very slippery planes :)

Thanks for sharing Albatross, that 3D map view is very cool.

I have never seen it before on any aircraft, perhaps they are using the meljet 777 model :P
