Ok, here's my entry. I decided to go for big iron this time. It's NZ 115, 10 minutes into it's flight from NZCH to YSSY. Hope you'll like it.

That's cool. I just found out the line "beam me up scotty" was never actually used in the entire star trek series...it's a slow saturday!

Yea im holding on to buy that b1900d model but I blew my fs budget on a real NZ subscription lol. Sigh Ahwell :(

Trying to figure that shot...what time/season, and what runway?
EDIT:
I was wondering less about the colour than the sun direction.
Of course that would be 23L for a sunset shot.
But wait a minute!
Adding magnetic variation of 20 puts it at 250 true.
I know we are GMT+13 sometimes, but the sun doesn't actually go there. Ever.
Must be a southern hemisphere thing with FS.
Funny it never caught my eye before...

yeah i was about to comment that Trolly's sunset is very yellow-orange rather than pink...

Birlliant shot Trolly, sky colour is magnificent & love the a/c shadow on the runway, well done mate :thumbup:

yes the sun does get that far south - I can attest to that - sitting here on evening shifts staring into it enough times!
