I've taken a whole bunch of FSX shots over a few flights, enjoy. Images total something like 4 mb, hehe. I kept them at 1024x768 to preserve detail, sorry.

First flight, B738 from Wellington to Christchurch

I started playing with the Cloud display options. The cloud draw distance is low in this shot...

And high in this one. Pretty big difference.

Starting the initial descent. My plan was to head for the Eyrewell VOR (YW) and decide which runway there.

Nearing Christchurch now. I'll use 02 with the ILS, so I'll go to the Burnham NDB and join up with the localiser there.

Still approaching... I now realise that my nose was perhaps a little too high, but my speeds were at 150 knots with full flaps, so I kept the nose up to try and slow down more.

Nearing the runway...

Touched down with a very high nose attitude, so I didn't end up deploying the reverse-thrust. I didn't like the FSX touchdown effect either, too smoky.

Parked.

I hope you all enjoyed, I'm still workin on my technique for landing the jets, let me know what you think.

Keep flying,

I'm enjoying seeing FSX at arms' length, without the sweat, so thanks for posting.
That VC is spectacular. Comparing the out-of-box experience, FSX does seem to be a big step forward from FS9. D'you think as big as FS2000 - FS2002?

Think your approach speed is a little low, if I remember a 73 just flies straight in at around 140kt, no flare really.

I totally agree about the VC's... once you experience FSX you never want to go back. I wasn't into aviation at all back in the FS02 days, so I'm not quite sure how big a leap that was.

And thanks for the approach advice, I've got the flight saved at YW so I can re-do the approach whenever I like.
