Scenery compatible with 20m mesh

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby Naki » Fri Nov 24, 2006 7:16 pm

Does anybody out there know what NZ freeware scenery is compatible with the 20m mesh?

I have Queenstown, Nelson, Mt Cook and Christchurch installed without any problems (although for some reason Chch is missing most of the textures which another thing I need to look at and fix). I have tried others but I have had compatibility problems with those. Is there any I have missed that will work?

By the way I have all of Robin's scenery (except Auckland - that is next) which are fantastic.

Cheers

Paul

Here they are - the VOZ AI is little out of place too but the priority is to get textures fixed first. - thanks for your help in advance

Paul , Ok U have the textures from both Versions , Startin with Version 1 then add the the version 2 textures to the same folder , if mention overwrite YES !
Copy entire contents of NZCH texture and past to the default FS9 texture folder , this seems to kickstart the textures , and can be deleted later.

Thanks Ian I'll give this a go - by the way I am still thinking about that Captain Sim C-130, although Flight 1's ATR also looks good but you don't see those flying around at 500ft!

Cheers

Hi Ian

Still no joy. I only downloaded V2 and don't have V1 as far as I know. I copied v2 textures to FS9 default folder. Should I of downloaded and installed V1 as well?

Cheers

Paul , Version 1 has all starting block textures , 2 upgrades them plus extra for updated model .

Edit .. Use textures from V1 , add the Version 2 texture to NZCH texture folder . Use only the Ver's 2 scenery file .

:)

Hiya Ian

All fixed now and looking good - thanks for your help. The AI have settled down as well and appear to be in the right spots except there is a duplicate POSt F-27 (AI & Static?)

Cheers

Paul
