Business Jets living in NZ

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Hi Guys

I note that some photos have been posted of Biz Jets with somne questions on who owns them.

For reference the following biz jets are domiciled in NZ (some with US regos). Considering about 5 years ago ther were none - things have certainly changed (especially since some of the jets here are top of the line)!

Lear 35 - ZK-XVL - Auckland Jet Charters (I think this is used for taget tug practice etc for the Navy)

Global 5000 (short fusalage Global Express) - N818FH - Network Jets, Auckland

Global Express - N18WZ - Rank Services, Auckland (Graeme Hart's jet and top of the line). Trolly you have posted a picture of this one.

Citation 1/SP - N800DT - National Biuusiness Review, Ardmore - Trolly I think you also posted a photo of this.

Citation CJ3 - ZK-TBM - Pacific Jets, Christchurch

Falcon 900EX N146EX - Business Jets, Auckland (I think this is used by the guys who own Sleepyhead - must be some money in beds)

Gulfsteam IV ZK-KFB - Air National Corporate, Auckland (Peter Jackson owns this one)

IAI Westwind II ZK-RML - Air National Corporate, Auckland

There is also suppose to be a new Gulfstream 200 being deliverd to Air National later this year.

Cheers

Paul

yep pretty sure it is - orginally this was an American design (Jet Commander) but Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) took over production in the 70s and modified it - production ended sometime ago but IAI stil build biz jets for Gulfstream (the G150 & 200)
