sorry I will miss the arival in from Oxford but planning is now well advanced for my own round the world tour. I intend leaving NZAA and island hopping across the pacific to Santiago in Chile then up the Atlantic coast of South America ,across from Brazil to Mauretania in Africa over to Kenya and up to Aden in Yemen. Then its homeward across Pakistan, India and down through SE asia to Timor ,Darwin, Brisbane and home.

still deciding whether to use FS9 or FSX, may end up a mixture of both depending on what mesh and sceneries I can download for enroute.

Intention is to fly the Baron the whole trip, and not having an oxygen system will stay 10,000ft or below. To really up the ante and try to sharpen up my Nav skills this trip will be done with NO repeat NO GPS!

even in the preplanning stages I have discovered some really out of the way and interesting airports - one concession I am allowing myself is to use the time compression on the longer legs - (just from a practical standpoint of getting time on the computer :D )

still a few more days planning and practising working out PNR's and Crit points etc but will start putting up progress reports when I get away.
