Yeah Auckland's been a little sticky too.
Water's the place to be.
More proof of summer (finally) at Mechanics' Bay & Auckland waterfront:

I haven't been up that early since last year! <_< It certainly looks like I should though, considering I might get to catch a glimpse of the beautiful early morning light captured in your photos Jon- amazing images!

Jealous - it's minus 5 here!

:P I miss the English winter, walking to school with thick warm coats on with the air temperature being below 0- but it sure is cosy indoors with the fire on during December and January- you don't get that feeling here in Auckland..

Today it was about 30+ in Wellington. Almost as Hot as Canberra

While I was over at the Gold Coast, it was 28 degrees at 1am one night, around 26 most other nights and one day, it was 38 degrees outside at a Go Kart track while we queued up for a race. On the actual black tarmac track it must have been 40+

I had to get up early this morning, and after remembering this post thought I might as well take a photo of the beautiful calm, warm and sunny morning on the Tamaki Estuary in Auckland:

Hey guess what,
Yesterday It was 35 here in Wellington despite what the forecast said,
And today It was around the same, plus I'm trapped in classrooms all day with no Aircon!!
