I'd be too embarrassed to photograph my desk while I'm in the middle of a scenery project, so here's a shot (recycled from my TrackIR review) showing the important parts. Here they are in order of importance:

1. Serenity.
2. The dragon -- a present from my kids, sometimes it fights with Serenity, but it always wins -- Serenity doesn't have any weapons.
3. Monitor.
4. TrackIR.
5. Pen holder.

I actually bought the monitor to go with TrackIR, so I only really use it in VC mode.
However it works ok in 2D, the panel is just stretched a bit. Here's the PMDG 1900D panel -- the instruments are not quite circular:)

Only the panel is affected -- everything else renders fine provided you select the native resolution of the monitor. (in this case 1680x1050)

Yes it's amazing how your eye adapts to the squished instruments.
Actually it's probably closer to the truth, since in looking down at a panel you'd get slight foreshortening.
Look at Robin's screenshot, doesn't look too odd does it?
Now turn your head on one side!

Fortunately the room is so full of bookshelves you can't see the awful colour of the walls. Mostly!

The curtain has a knot tied in it so it doesn't drape over the Dell and cause it to overheat. Unfortunately I only have space for one monitor, despite having two PCs (I use the digital/analogue button on the front panel to switch between them). That's a Garmin 296 on top of the GoFlight stack. Normally it goes in the plane with me, but I can also hook it up to FS thanks to Pete Dowson's GPSOut module.

well here's mine..........still a work in progress. Still need to get radio stack, track IR and throttles.........oh how I need throttles. Currently using the joystick throttle on the right. The Yoke has a twitchy throttle that struggles to stay stable, hence I can't use reverse thrust when this throttle is active :angry:

The Yoke is an old school CH Virtual pilot pro. The Pedals are saitek, a much wider design than the CH pedals, and fully adjustable for tension and foot size. I found the CH pedals abit small for my feet.

The monitors are a 19inch widescreen and a 17inch screen for gps,radios etc....

Sound has always been important for me. There are a total of 8 small speakers, 2 larger speakers and this sub (below), which ensures I 'feel' those engines spooling up as much as hear them (I'm sure the neighbours love it!!!!)
