I stayed on the Queen Mary (one) in Los Angles for a night on the way from NZ to the UK once, and it was great to see #2 last night at Auckland- but man the traffic getting home afterwards has horrible, looks like every city resident turned out for the event.
Unfortuantly, my videos and pictures didn't turn out very well at all, but here is what I captured.
Sydney, I expect she came down the east coast of NZ and through the Cook Straight last night. You can see a live webcam image from the bridge here: http://cunard.com/bridgecam/qm2_cam1.asp
Anyone going down the Viaduct tonight will be able to see QM2’s sister ship, the Queen Victoria which is in port right now lined up next to Princes Wharf!
