Well I'm sure you have all read in other threads by now that there was a good airshow on today at Whenuapai, and everyone has been posting there pix, so here are mine. Not as good as Zolt's by a long shot, but a little different:

First up, the B757. One was a static display that we got to walk inside and sit in the cockpit, the other did some amazing fly by's with the Orion and Herc:

Right at the end were the Red Checkers, most people left by the time they started performing.

Awesome pics trolly

I reckon I'd have a hard time getting used to that Orion panel though.

I loved that 757 when it was nose up for ages on landing. Such control...
Nice pic of the F111 rotation, pity it's a screenshot comp instead of photos :P

Comments on Trolly's photos (I was there remember)

First, what an organiser!
While we were chewing the cud about Forums and computers, his family was in the 5km queue to get into the Orion! He excused himself just in time to crash the queue at the bottom of the stairway (hi guys sorry it took so long :P )
And then had the presence of mind to take the F111 shot of the day on coming out of the Orion on the other side! (Mine all have heads in the way.)

Thanks to Trolly's family, then for the superb interior shots!
Who'd have thought the 757 had Real Seats? I had somehow imagined webbing rear-facing jobs
And great panel pics too, Captain Sim 757 looks just like the real thing.
And the Orion is from another generation, all right.
I'm off to dig out the Team FS KBT Orion (there's a new version BYW) for a little Simulation work.

Great series of pics.

I reckon I'd have a hard time getting used to that Orion panel though.

Yeah, they are upgrading it to glass avionics along with the C-130 this year (or perhaps its 2008) I was told by a RNZAF pilot there.

to take the F111 shot of the day on coming out of the Orion on the other side!

Ahh you're too kind Charl- I rekon Zolt's is way better though: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g291/ ... f111-1.jpg

I'm off to dig out the Team FS KBT Orion

Me too, I feel like recreating the P3, 757, C-130 formation now- also, a repaint of the FS KBT Orion 1966-2006 tail would be nice- any offers? hehe :P

Come to think of it, I quite fancey taking the F-111 for a blast around REAL NZ Auckland. Does anyone know of a fs2004 model or even one with a RAAF repaint?
EDIT: Found a decent paint for Mike Stones F-111C model here: http://www.gjsmith.net/Textures/f111.htm
