Maybe its an age thing but who gives a monkey as to how you pronounce an aircraft name !? Having spent the past 35 years or so around aircraft enthusiasts and living under flight paths it really is an individual thing but I suppose a poll like this determines something for someone somehwere ?

Well, it doesn't really determine anything we don't already know- a 172 is a 172, it flies the same regardless of how you say it. It'll pass.

My 2 cents. :plane:
