I have GNZLAP ready to install but as a newbie I need to ask a couple of questions.
I have VOZ installed and the only Afcad files I have are in Aussie and a heap of files i.e. AF2-YYMI bgl etc. I presume the GNLAP install will not upset the Aussie files?.
If those questions sound dumb that is because when it comes to FS I am dumb!!

No dumb questions exist in the FS world, nice place huh?
No Aussie files in GNZLAP, all are NZ-based.
A word of caution: in this release they are set up to work with the 20m mesh, plus RBE topo payware packages.
If you have a stock flightsim installation without these addons, install GNZLAP without copying the AFCADs over, as they supersede the stock airports.
if you then find your favourite airstrip has no AI traffic, add its AFCAD and see if it works for you.
Sometimes the result may be a strip sitting on a plateau, which you may or may not want to live with.
Hope this hellps you!

Thanks Charl. I have 20m Mesh and RBE Topo installed so I should be away. Cheers.

Charl, or anyone else who can help please. In the Installation notes I am a little confused. When you copy all those files i.e. Addon Scenery, Aircraft, Flights etc into FS9 as depicted do they automatically go into the individual Directories?.
I also have RealNZ WN Tauranga and Rotorua installed I presume these will not be upset.
I am still coming to grips with what installs what and where.
Cheers,
Pat.

You should read the Word document that comes with the package as there is a graphical depiction of the process.
This shouuld make it clearer.

I have read it and it looks as though you put all the files into Flight Simulator9. I would have thought that, for example, "aircraft" would have to be put into the "Aircraft" folder and "Addon Scenery" into the "Addon Scenery " folder. I presume RealNZ software will not be affected. Anyway thanks for your help.

What you do:
Right click the Aircraft Folder in the GNZLAP download, select <Copy>.
Click on your Flight Simulator9 folder, select <paste>
This will paste the Aircraft folder into your flightsim folder.
It will ask if OK to overwrite, you say "Yes".
It won't overwrite anything other than what it contains, so all your other bits are safe.
Repeat folder by folder.
You will end up with GNZLAP aircraft in your Aircraft folder, flights in the Flights folder, etc.
Hope this is clearer.

Todd
The AFCADs are made for RBE 20m mesh + RBE Topo addons.
If you don't have these there are many that won't work for you.
(Although many will)
Whenever you find this, rename the appropriate AFCAD in the \Addon Scenery\Scenery folder.
For example, you find Wellington going under:
rename AF2_NZWN.bgl to AF2_NZWN.bak
