Sometimes it can be a bit of fun to crash into famous buildings for a bit of fun (don't get me wrong, I believe the ones who do it in real world are losers). Who else uses games for this purpose occasionally? :ph43r:

Good Topic. I do it quite alot to impress friends. :ph43r: After all the buildings are only good if you can crash into them. It's a simulator. Have FUN!!

I tried to land a chopper on a high building once, but misjudged it, and crashed into the building, if that counts...

Ive crashed into alot of buildings etc ... but that was by mistake pilot error .
I think the one place ive crashed into the most would be robin corns auckland asb tower helipad
i guess its up to the guy who can imagine doing that and not having really any effects to make it worth the while ,
1.you see you ether fly right through it and that was fun <_<
or 2. you have colision on and you go little boom and you have to wait for a reload <_<
Now that really sounds like fun in a world where staying up in the air and landing something worth 40.000.000 sim dollars in tacked is the point ,or not

Is there an addon out there that creates explosions when you crash?

This is normally built into the model -- not a lot have a crash model.
When I was testing Wellington, I swear I saw the undercarriage fly off when I clipped the terminal -- don't remember what the aircraft was, though.

I don't see how crashing into buildings can be fun  I mean seriously dude if you're playing any of the FS versions you crash so what the game stops! I have played games which do cover terrorist type activities in the past but they are mainly FPS games which involve destroying stuff. Ya know if you're into crashing though I've done plenty of that some of the guys here will vouch for that. :D
First thing ya need if you like to fly dangerously is a sim which models damage modelling, advanced flight model and just for fun add some AAA or SAMs to the madness.
Low flyings always good:

Now what happens if you have a sim where crash physics and cog is modelled:

Note these aren't deliberate, I'm trying to land on an aircraft carrier without an arrester hook.

One of the games that I've discovered is called Falcon bowling :D .
1st rule of Falcon bowling is you do not talk about Falcon Bowling.
2nd rule of Falcon bowling is you do not talk about Falcon bowling.
3rd rule of Falcon Bowling is you must land without wheels or any fuel in the tank.

I am really seriously starting to question the mentality of some of the people who play FS because if ya find it "fun" or "amusing" to crash into famous buildings/landmarks in FS theres something seriously wrong because it isn't natural considering some of the past real-life events that have taken place in recent years I don't see why any one would want to re-create such events be it within the simulator or real-world you are simply re-creating other peoples pain and anguish that they have felt now I have to state that Im not attacking any one personally but I just cant understand what the relevance is in such a topic being brought up in the first place if you don't like what I have said tell me its absolutely no skin off my nose.

Again this is not an attack on any one just purely my opinion on the whole relevance of the subject.
