I got to watch it at work :D
I think the 787 just took the mantle for my personal choice for hottest Boeing ever :D What a fine machine! Thanks to whoever it was posted here that it was going to be online, or I would never have known to watch. Cheers.

to be honest Trolly, you didn't miss much. There were many speeches and then 1 min for the roll out. Still good to watch (I only watched the end which I saw by coincidence when I wondered what was happening at that moment cause I got bored after the first 30min)

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Yeah I'm surprised by the lack of a definitive model - Robert Versluys' version looks pretty dated now.
And I can't wait for a proper rendition of the cockpit.
Same could be said of the A380, really.

some interesting reading...

Lol... the thing has like 1000 temporary plastic fasteners on it holding various bits and pieces together... there was a gap when they joined bits of the fuselage together, its heavier than designed and they still have to put in test flight systems and hundreds of feet of cabling!

having said that, it seems pretty popular:

Boeing now has orders for 677 787s from 47 customers.
