Hawker siddeley 125

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

I am looking for some NZ pictures for Hawker Siddeley 125 not the hawker raytheon but the 40 year old version. I have a dim dark memory the the RNZAF had a couple but I cant turn up any pictures on the web. Qantas had two and the Civil Aviation authority had at least one in Au so I have textured them. If any one has come across any please let me know.

Cheers Mary

I am making An HS125 for FS9 and later for FSX. It has been a long learning curve but at last I hope I am making a model that is worth
wile. Mainly thanks to feed back from people on my earlier models and help from other modelers. Could use some help smoothing the red stripe as it comes along the nose. I have tried blurring it with paintshop pro but it keeps moving my image to the right after I save and then none of the textures line up with the model. For some reason it takes a strip about 50 pixels wide from the left hand side and transfers them to the right hand side every time I save.

It would be nice to post an NZ texture with the model.

I can send you the model file although it is not finished, it six meg, I use gmail for moving big files and there is a link on "Marty" to contact me Or marty.strong@gmail.com
I have a separate gmail account I post files in and provide a password for access, if 6 meg is to big.
I can also remake/remap any parts as required.

I have posted this model at the file library "Here"

I would really like to here from people who try it. Mostly about things I could do better.
It is made for FS9 but as all the gauges are xml it will run in FSX without any problems.
A couple of things I know are wrong.
The landing light wont light the runway. I can not figure out why as the parts are correctly made and named and show on the model.
I forgot the taxi light.
There is a small error in the placement of some of the lights on the radio panel in the Virtual cockpit. This is because I moved the panel background texture slightly and missed the offending lights when I was realigning the gauges.

I want to do a small GA next and am thinking about a Beagle Airedale.
Thanks in advance to any one who helps me here

I make the textures in Corel draw at 4096 x 4096 @ 600dpi then export them the same size, and scale them with DXT bmp or PSP.
Create the alpha map and save with dxt bmp then edit the alpha, save it and import it back, finally saving in DXT3 .

I'll try Corel , maybe there is a format that has lock'd the file .. as ya can textures including pinstripe smooth , it was modifying from a drawing that caused strife .
