Bell 412 Floats

...As per July screenshot entry,floats pop out on Jordan Moore's superb Bell 412 Offshore model like this:



It's quite a big machine, and very powerful.
My party trick is to take on a Cessna 172 or similar, and chase it from a standing start to 1500ft.
No contest really, you have to back off a notch.
It'll keep up with some turbo twins.

It is a powerful machine.....but you have to treat it with respect with your realism settings high. Ive stopped using it to check scenery as when im flying around (but not 'flying around' and paying attention) it will die if you dont keep an eye on gauges etc....just like in real life ;0)

Bell 412 vs C172 = no chance for the C172 hahahaha.

You mean Bell 412 vs C182 Turbo? tongue.gif

Top end is essentially the same for both at 140 kts.
But a helicopter can climb - the Bell maybe 10% better than a 182
I reckon I'd take on -MRH to 1500 ft in real life
Certainly in the sim it's no contest

It is a brilliant Bell , I wonder what the payware difference is or what extra it has to offer ... , lookin at Edwins (evii) screenie pavelow.... i may look at that later tonight smile.gif
