Just follow this train of thought:
Theme - Terrain
Number of users with RBE NZ product who'd enter to win RBE again - ??
Number of users without RBE NZ product who'd enter, knowing their default terrain is 'orrible - Less than ?? above, surely
SO, given you have essentially removed the incentive to enter, that leaves the other 4 who mis-posted...

nice and glad you are making good use of that repaint ..
I think the terrain was a good idea for a theme ,doesnt mean you have to take shots of rolling hills ,it actully once you think about it means you can take a shot of anything over land ,
,this leaves the ideas wide open ,
August i think was a slow month last year aswell for postings ,it will pick up soon 21st sept is school holidays again arent they ? and then its Xmas after that and we are always busy little posters in the holidays etc ,
one little thing that did not help was that little to much .. the stoppin of congrad /dribble and fun return chat from a persons work of art .. now that was a bad monthphooey , love the chat helps newbies .. and damm wasnt it fun

Yup i will be the first to admit i voted strongly against the dribble but i can see now that it was a bad idea and really takes the motive out of what we are all about here on nzff ...An idea about the "lack" of entries, maybe do something where you don't have to post them in the topic, but must PM them to you? Maybe people don't post because they don't think their screenie will be good enough because the people with lots of screenshot experience have posted up early? Just a thought.
Dude i started out against people like cbris and many other great photoshoppers ,thats the best thing that could of happened to me ,i wouldnt get better at it if mine was the best one every month would i ?
people that are starting out should look at the others around here that dont do a bad job and see what things they do to make theres stand out from the rest ..
ive waited a whole year and abit to win that comp with many cr@p ones on tha way through ,if you dont post against them how are you ever going to know ..
tricks slew to the the spot you want to take a shot of ,pause go to settings and turn your antiilasing on this will remove the jagged line hopeful ,also turn the silders right up if your not moving why not have everything cranked for your comp shot ,put shadows on ,sun always to the side you are looking at, this helps heaps to get your lighting right for the shot ,
crop it in paint get rid of writing at the top of your screen etc.. anyone can do this in this day and age , pming the comp pics will only kill the comp ...
anyway heaps of great awesome cool rad shots are rolling in now

I understand that but some people may be put off by seeing some of the ones with the WOW factor, and know they don't have a chance.
I will post a screenshot but will expect to get the same 0 votes. It doesn't really bother me considering what else is put up, but as i said may put off others.
