Did I see on AVSIM, a plane released for FS9 and FSX with the following:
"In FSX, bump mapping"
"In FS9, Smoke trails and VC rain"
I thought I'd heard they left out rain in FSX, but smoke??
Any other surprises awaiting FSX users?

FSX DOES have smoke and it sure can be added, and last time I flew in the rain it had VC rain as well

FSX has smoke. It doesn't have rain, but this may change - although you haven't heard that from me

Yeah that always puzzled me.....there is still an entry in the cfg file for VCrain but its set to false if i remember correctly......it was/is certainly a cool feature!
