A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby Charl » Wed Sep 05, 2007 9:20 pm

The sad news is that FSFrance has closed its doors.
The usual reasons: the flightsim community ate them
Here in broken translation is what Yannick has said:
FsFrance became a kind of factory where one almost forces to us (or reproaches) to do this or that.
Many people think that we are at the disposal of community FS and that there is not which has to ask to have.
I am so sorry I didn't spend more time on their excellent products.
Perhaps the consumers will take note...

On the brighter side, news for rotorheads is good:
Nemeth Designs has started a website which will become the centre of their activity over time.
Brilliant offerings to be had there.

They did some astonishing VFR scenery, I have an island off the southern coast of France that hasn't been bettered for ambience and attention to detail.
They also did some amazing AI and flyable freeware aircraft.
And airports: just one example I can think of is Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. RealCDG v3.1 - brilliant
