There is more to come ( first time wit the camera and was trying things out)

This was just taking off while driving there.

bad photo because was in a moving car and with the window closed

If you look closely you can see the cloud stuff off the middle of the wing Cathay a340 went over our house just before we left and it looked awesome very low with that cloud forming around the wing stretching out a huge way. not the wingtip one.

767 going for a stroll

747 taking off

closer

I was trying to get a engine wing nose shot sort of thing going on but it kind of failed but in the bottom right there is a bit of the moon

It's hard to get a good photos when 05 is active unless you have a kick-butt camera, which you appear to have been using. Great shots man!

That first jumbo looks like Singapores Star Allience 747- I've never seen that in Auckland so well done for capturing it. I know what you mean about shooting pics out the car window. I sometimes randomly decide to go for a bit of spotting when I see theres a rare airliner scheduled on the NZAA website, then see it flying along side me on Puhinui Drive just as I'm arriving.

BTW- see any special 767's in the maintenance area?

Haha those fire engine guys have nothing to do ay, I always see them just randomly firing thier cannons, testing the pressure I guess. Any excuse for a blast with those guys.

That reminds me of the time I was at NZWN and a RNZAF Herc made an emergency landing.
Runway was closed for 10 mins. Also there was dark blue smoke coming out of one of the engines.

Anyway I have to admit NZAA Isn't the most friendly airport for photographers.
But still great pics.

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Awesome 747 shots man- the lighting there is incredable, you should submit them to airliners.net winkyy.gif
