I finally got around to taking my first trans Atlantic sim flight today, using the POSKY B747 from Amsterdam to St Maarten, 3740 miles of distance and 8 hours in time total.

I took off around lunchtime, set autopilot on once I reached a cruising altitude of FL350- went out with my mates, got home, had dinner, then landed at SXM. Below are some screenshots I took along the way: 15 pics (1.35mb)

Welcome to Paradise-

I know I didn't fly all of the flight by hand, but I still feel satisfied that I managed to land the heavy in a different continent without using time acceleration or anything. Here are a few more thumbnails from St Maarten, quite simular to the above:

nice flight by the looks, very nice shots too, just a little high over the fence though tongue.gif i have to say st maarten is on my must get list
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.
